You're right... PS2 was gobs---- in Europe due to laggy and bordery-pal conversions and a poor DVD player... If only other companies show Sony how its made by merging up and making it look like a cake.

But the PS2 IMO is average. It had an ok controller, but it was a port from the PS1, and the games had some good graphics, but was scuppered by terrible loading and lag on movies and Ingameplay. To top it off, there were mostly bad games out every month, but there are a few that were pretty good.

Back on topic, and I'd like to get Mario Kart DS when it comes out in Europe. It's MarioKart64 and a bit more

Heh heh, Mario Kart DS has beat Halo 2 in the percent of players who have taken the game online. Link.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

You know what's funny? I posted that specifically to get you to respond, since you hate Nintendo fanboys. You didn't let me down. Who's the puppet now?

Ah...looking back, I see you're just playing spectator right now...me too, although I'm lobbing the occasional brick-with-a-wavebird-tied-to-it.

Lol, nice try. I've seen people do a better job trying to weasel their way out of the situation, though. Take the damn joke, ya turkey :3

That link was pretty impressive! There are a few good reasons for that im sure. For starters the Wifi connection can be accessed by the many people because its everywhere. As for the Xbox, not everyone has a high speed internet connection. I know tons of people who still get lan parties together because they cant play online.

However, Mario Kart is definately fun to play online. People are so much more intense than NPCs. I still like the 8 people lan stuff on it though, that stuff rocks!

If you know ANYONE, who has paid outside of their ISP to play a crappy console game online, you get a stick and you HIT 'EM! And you say "NO."

Yeah I am trying to work on beating all the courses with at least one star so I can have a star by my name when I race online. To show off my 1337N355. In all seriousness I may not get around to it, but the game sure is fun as hell! If anyone ever wants to race im always up for a go!

I played one guy who let me lead the entire way through 2 laps on every course, and then he'd blow past me the last lap. It's like he got these massive boosts of speed for no reason. I need to figure out the tricks.

Other night I raced against a guy with TWO stars by his name. We were in a game with two completely new people and it was basically us with a good 20 secs on the other two. After those races though he left, and after I smoked the new people they left before I got my win.

I really hate how people always quit after you win three races in a row and they know they lose. Its getting tricky trying to trick them by letting them think they can win. Even then they quit at the last second!

Ill gladly send you a friend code of mine as soon as I get home and fire up my DS. Me and two of my other friends play online a bit. I play more than them though because I really like mario kart hah.

That happens to me alot. Either it is a glitch/lag, or some people out there are cheating. Ive seen people in fourth just zoom ahead, even going THROUGH other racers, right to first place.

That's as much of a fanboy reply as you'll get. I'm not as rabid as most. I will give you Sony guys props for God of War, though...I'd really like to play that one some time.

I'll let you guys know when I finally get a DS and Mario Kart. Could be a while, though.
Yay for Nintendo!

Are you sure they are not just staying behind to catch your breeze to get a boost? I do that often to people to piss um off.

Other day we were playing cheep cheep beach and I got hit by a blue shell, dropped to second and picked up a three mushroom by luck. Used them to get through to the last jungle area and was behind first place catching his air. Right as we exited and the finish line was in sight I boosted by him and won. I love this game!
